Water Kettle

avg rating: 4.5    |    reviews: 63
Solid, well built and it's cool to see the water boiling. My wife really likes this and it looks great. Very easy to use and goes well with our kitchen. I would recommend this to anyone.

Love this kettle! Knowing when the water boils is easy with the clear glass, and it holds more than enough boiling water for most purposes.

I really like this kettle. When the kettle gets hot, so does everything else. (be careful that you don't burn yourself)

The water kettle is a gift for my boyfriend. I took it out to look at it and the glass looks a little thin, not bad but knowing him ~ There is a crack coming. The pot is dainty though, and I would not mind having it myself.

Fantastic kettle. Gave this as a gift to my mother and she adores it.

What a dreadful purchase... The entire kettle heats, so I burn myself almost everytime I use it. It is nearly impossible to keep clean and presentable, and it offers no appreciable visual advantage when boiling water.

I love the look of the tea kettle. It is neat to watch the water boil. Unfortunately my husband broke it by tapping the spout too hard on a mug as he was pouring it and the spout broke right off.

I adore this kettle! It's light and delicate, but also is durable and serves its purpose well. A whistle isn't really necessary, but it might be something to consider on any future models.

I like this tea kettle. It's very practical and light however you might want to be careful, it cracked the first time while on the stove. I got it replaced and I am still using

I ordered this kettle to avoid the aluminum in my tea, and it fit the job, nicely. But I had a problem with the kettle when it was finished boiling. If you don't watch it like a hawk, then it overflows and will blow the lid right off. I got burned with hot water one time, and twice, my children were near it when the lid flew off. If you have smaller children, and cannot babysit your kettle, I would suggest you find a different kind with a whistle. Also, the shape of the spout is not user friendly. If you are pouring boiling water, almost everytime it gushes out and burns you. I just think there needs to be another option than this one.

Great for several times a day use. The bottom doesn't blacken on my gas range at all. It's a great kettle to have if you like both dark and lighter teas. It's easy to eyeball the water temperature, and it goes great with the other teaware I got.

Awesome! Well made, seemingly durable and great looking. Fun to watch all the little bubbles. I got this kettle because the inside of my metal kettle started to rust, and it always collected grease on the outside, which was very hard to clean. The glass one is so much easier to maintain and it won't rust. One thing, I would like to have seen the top made of glass too (it's metal), and the handle requires a pot holder when pouring. Non-issues, I'll gladly buy this again if I ever break it.

I LOVE this kettle! If I didnt bust it while putting it empty upon the hot stove (der! then it would've lasted a heck of a lot longer. No breakage, no problems whatsoever!

I love, love this kettle. It's fun and easy to use because I can tell the temp. of the water and when I'm done using it, it's super easy to clean. I've never had so much fun boiling water.

I like to see the water boil to gauge the temperature of the water. This also makes a great addition to my iced ingenuiTEA. Surprisingly enough the handle stays fairy cool when the water has reached it's boiling temperature.

Would be fantastic if the lid came with a stainless steel ball or even in other colors as well as blue. Perfect gift idea - looks amazing on the gas and is a good 'pourer'!!

I like the idea of an all glass tea kettle but the stopper broke off very early on. The functionability of the tea kettle was a little awkard. Nice looking though.

This water kettle does a great job and is worth purchasing!

I was hoping the kettle would be bigger, and the glass thicker (like pyrex). Expectations aside, my mom uses it to brew herbal tea in with no problems. To boil just water would probably be fine. It's easy to keep clean, so I'm not sure why people are saying otherwise. Just rinse and wipe down after use. As with all glass products, be careful when handling it. I got this one to replace a carafe style ikea glass kettle that cracked with careless handling.
