"Are your teas organic?"

"Are your teas kosher?"
"How do I keep my tea fresh?"
Tea never really goes "bad," just loses some flavor.
Tea is best kept fresh by putting in a dark and dry, sealed in a closed
container until using (and, after opened, kept as close to sealed as
possible). This should keep the tea fresh up to one year (a little less for
green and white teas). We do not recommend putting in the freezer, in that
it will add moisture to the tea leaves, greatly reducing the flavor.

"Looks cool.....Can I get a free sample?"
While we agree that our teas are among the "coolest" and best you'll find,
we do not mail out free samples. However, we advise you to seek advice in
many of our forums dedicated
to tea.

"I can't find a certain tea on your site where I'd expect to find it. Help!?"
Unfortunately, we may not carry that product. Please email us at
info@adagio.com to confirm. If not, our best suggestion
is to post this
inquiry on our TeaChat bulletin board and our wonderful
customers may be able to point you to the right direction.

"Are your teas organic?"
While some of our teas are organic, most are not. This is simply due to the
fact that experience has show us that most organic teas are simply lower
quality. Currently, our only organic teas are our Rooibos "Red" teas,
and Iced teas,
which are the delicious exception to the rule.
top
"Are your teas Fair Trade?"
There is only a handful of Fair Trade tea estates in the world (although
several tea companies buy from these estates)! So few, in fact, that
anything that they put their name on is exponentially more expensive for
what generally turns out to be significantly lower quality.
We support the idea, but have decided to wait until the quality catches up
to the hype!
top
"Are your teas kosher?"
Good news: Any unflavored tea is naturally Kosher!
However, we haven't paid the fee to get these teas to be officially Kosher
certified, so cannot mark them as "Kosher."
